The trek starts from the beautiful and charming settlement of Nayapul, after around two hours’ scenic drive from the bustling city of Pokhara. This trek will take you through the wonderful villages of Ulleri, Ghorepani, and Tatopani. Be ready to enjoy the quaint Gurung and Magar villages along with peaceful lush forests of rhododendron trees and marvelous mountain scenery throughout the trek. As you reach Poonhill at an altitude of 3210 meters high above sea level, the highest point of the journey, you will be mesmerized by the magical sunrise view. Itinerary

Day 1Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul then trek to Ulleri

After an early breakfast, be ready to leave behind the bustling city of Pokhara and enjoy a pleasant drive to Nayapul, the starting point of our trek. Today the trek will be fairly easy. Enjoying a short hike from Nayapul following the Modi River, we will come across the beautiful village-Birethanti. The trail will further take us through the charming settlement of Hile and Tikhedhunga. We will savor the local villages, teahouses, rivers, and mingle with the locals. The path will become more challenging as we get closer to Ulleri. Overcoming the steep climb of nearly 1 hour of stone steps, we will reach our destination for the day – Ulleri (2073 meters), a gorgeous Magar village.

Day 2Trek to Ghorepani

Today we will be following our trail to reach the wonderful village of Ghorepani. We will start our trek after a hearty breakfast at our lodge. While trekking through the lush rhododendron and oak trees, keep your eyes open to get a chance to encounter exotic birds and animals throughout the way. Glimpses of the surrounding mountain are sure to keep you mesmerized as you walk through the forest trail. The trek will gently ascend towards our destination. As we reach Ghorepani, we will be welcomed by the awe-inspiring panorama of the surrounding mountains. We will enjoy the atmosphere and stay overnight at one of the lodges here.

Day 3Hike to Poonhill then trek to Tatopani

Today we will be starting our day at the crack of dawn to catch the first rays of the sun caressing the snow-capped giants. With an early morning hike to Poonhill, we will experience the sensational sunrise over the whole Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range and surrounding landscapes. Views from Poon Hill are positively spectacular and the sunrise view is breathtaking. After spending some time admiring the awesome views, we will return to Ghorepani for our breakfast and get ready for our trek to Tatopani. We spend the night at Tatopani rejoicing our adventure and enjoying the natural hot water springs that the area is famous for.

Day 4Drive to Pokhara via Beni

After a delicious breakfast, we pack our bags and get ready for our drive to Pokhara. We will pass through the rapidly expanding trading town of Beni.  The drive will be pleasant as we will be driving past many charming settlements and the winding roads along the rivers and hills are sure to be enjoyable. We will drop you off at your hotel in Pokhara and you will have the rest of the evening to relax and enjoy at your leisure.
